I finally got a haircut on Wednesday. My hair's the shortest I can ever remember it being. I had it really short in the first and second grades, but I don't think it was this short even then. Anyway, I really like it. I have to admit that my mom's probably right--I actually do look better with long hair, but I really don't care what I look like, I just want something manageable, and this style definitely is.

Since very few people read these journals, and since I have a LiveJournal anyway, I've decided to cut down my updates to monthly. It's just as well I decide that now, anyway, because I'm leaving for vacation on Tuesday. I'll be in North Carolina/South Carolina/Virginia for a week and a half. I'll have internet access, but I probably won't be going online much. Anyway, it's not like I'm on DA that much anyway even more. It's probably for the best--when I get a full-time job and a place of my own, I won't have time for all my hobbies, and, well, drawing isn't my most important hobby. I'd like to spend my free time writing. Not that I'll stop drawing altogether, or leave DA altogether. There are often times I feel more like drawing than writing, so I'm not giving anything up completely, don't worry. This page will probably just be less frequently updated than it used to be, that's all.

One bit of news to share--I've filled out paperwork to move in to my friend's apartment with her. They've still got to do the background checks, but not like I have a criminal record or anything. So I've got an apartment now! Now all I need is a job.

I'll update again on July 1st, barring any catastrophes, and will probably keep the "first of the month" schedule after that. So I'll see you around, eventually. And you all keep being awesome.
