Leaving DA

Kind of.

I'm not going to deactivate my account, but seeing as it's been months since I've drawn anything, and all I do when I log on to DA is delete all my messages and quickly thank people for faves... honestly, this site is seeming like a chore now. I'm not exactly sure why I keep logging on, other than to just clear my messages.

However, that doesn't mean I'll be going away forever. I'll probably still log on on occasion... just not every day. And if I ever draw again, I'll come back here and post it, I'm sure.

It's just that right now, I honestly see no reason for me to continue making this site one of my daily stops.

If you still want to keep in touch with me, I am still making LJ and Facebook my daily stops. :)

Hello, my name is Commander and I draw infrequently. :)

In addition to (and with more frequency than) drawing, I also write, read, play piano and flute, watch dorky DVDs, and try to find time to do all that in between my two library jobs.

Please don't ask me to draw anything (requests, trades, collabs, commissions, whatever). Even if I had the time... the answer would still probably be no. Don't take it personally. If you want something drawn, draw it yourself. :)

I have many varied and dorky interests, and I shuffle through them at random and without warning. They include (but are not limited to): animation from the 1930's-50's (and some from the 90's), American presidents, Latin American culture, postcards, classical and classic rock music, the American Revolution, old black-and-white comedians (the Marx Brothers, the Three Stooges, Laurel and Hardy, Charlie Chaplin, etc.), DVDs, and cough drops.

I'm really not that interesting, but I try to be approachable and friendly. :)
